I found the assessment primer to be very useful and applicable across fields. Increasingly assessment is becoming a focus of course development and of faculty assessment. This quote "It is often helpful to begin at the end and map backward from the ultimate goal of what is to be learned to students’ prior knowledge." resonated with me because geography is often built upon developing a geospatial lens on the world, part of which is impacted by our prior mental maps and experiences.
