Biography
Dr. Gabriela Hamerlinck has been a QUBES postdoc since August 2015. Her primary mentor is Kristin Jenkins at BioQUEST Curriculum Consortium, Inc. Gabriela’s background is in evolution and theoretical ecology. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa for her work describing competition dynamics and coevolution in an insect host-parasitoid system. At QUBES, Gabriela’s work has focused on facilitating faculty mentoring networks around quantitative reasoning skills and the use of authentic data in the biology classroom. Gabriela is also involved with the programmatic assessment of various QUBES activities.
