Community College Biology Instructor Network to support Inquiry into Teaching and Education Scholarship (CC Bio INSITES) is an NSF-funded network that aims to increase and support community college instructors' investigations into teaching and learning biology. National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) is a continental-scale ecological observation facility, sponsored by the National Science Foundation and operated by Battelle, designed to gather and synthesize data on the impacts of climate change, land use change and invasive species on natural resources and biodiversity on a continental scale.

Quantifying Life

The textbook, Quantifying Life, offers an accessible introduction to the breadth of mathematical modeling used in biology today. Assuming only a foundation in high school mathematics, Quantifying Life takes an innovative computational approach to developing mathematical skills and intuition.

Quantifying Life has partnered with QUBES to host a venue for users of Quantifying Life, especially instructors teaching classes using the book, to share resources and teaching strategies, collaborate with other users, and provide feedback about their experiences using the book.
