Description

Students will solve a system of second order differential equations to model a planets orbit and also solve a differential equation to model Kepler's Second Law. In addition they will solve two optimization problems with the sum of square error and Lagrange multipliers. They will also use vector calculus to solve for work using line integrals in both a conservative and non-conservative fields. Included in this project is a Mathematica Notebook with solutions.
