Description

The delivery system is modeled as a liquid mixing problem. Students formulate the differential equation, and solve the equation using separation of variables or integrating factor. They compute the amount and concentration of drug in the cochlea over time, and help design safe and effective devices. Through observation and interpretation of solutions in a real-life scenario, students enhance their understanding and application of a differential equation model.
