Description

Lomen, David and David Lovelock. 1999. Data Sets from text Differential Equations:  Graphics, Models, Data. New York:  John Wiley and Sons.

See http://math.arizona.edu/~dsl/datall.htm .  Accessed 27 March 2023.

From the introduction on the web page, We have online the data sets used in the book DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS Graphics Models Data, by David Lomen and David Lovelock, Wiley, 1999, and the Arizona Mathematical Software program Twiddle (300K). The data sets can be seen graphically and then downloaded individually, or collectively in the form of a zip file (50K). [Twiddle contains these data sets.] They are listed here by propertiesfields, and chapters.”

The data is arranged according to chapters in the text, There are many country population listings.

Data selected by field is presented, e.g.,  chemistry, electricity, growth, motion, population, miscellaneous.

Keywords: data, model, estimate, differential equation
