Designing Social Justice Projects
Overview
Workshop Objectives
- Faculty will be able to define and give examples of redlining, environmental justice and will be able to use the principles to organize and interdisciplinary project.
- Faculty participants will be examine three types of interdisciplinary projects that relate science and social justice.
- Faculty will be introduced to several GIS and mapping tools for use in class.
- Faculty will begin to adapt one of the example assignments or create a new one using a model course design template.
- Faculty will explore several types of authentic assessments
