I am a bit late to the intros, but I am so looking forward to seeing everyone next week! I am an Assistant Professor in the Biology Department at St. John Fisher College located in Rochester, NY (about 1.5 hrs from Buffalo). I am originally from just south of Buffalo, NY (where the Bills play), but have lived in New Hampshire and Oregon before eventually making my way back to the area. I have been lucky enough to participate in the QUBES/BioQUEST summer meetings and several QUBES FMNs the past few years. I have learned so much and have gotten to meet so many great people. I am currently working with Kristine Grayson, Arietta Fleming-Davies, and Ben Wu on projects involving the use and sustainability of open access data-centric teaching resources in ecology.
