more
Colleagues,
We recently received notification that our IUSE proposal Enabling Future Teachers to Experience Science Investigation and Engineering Design in Introductory Undergraduate STEM Classrooms has been funded. The project goals are to (1) engage and support undergraduate faculty in developing, testing, and implementing high-quality instructional materials that put investigation and design at the center of introductory science courses that serve future teachers; and (2) assess the impact of the use of the materials and the development process. To achieve the project goals, we are hiring two postdocs to engage in research and support the materials development process. The positions have been posted, and I could use your help in advertising broadly. Here is a direct link to the posting, or you can direct potential applicants to https://careers.cwu.edu and search for job posting 3746. Note that, although the positions are hired at Central Washington University, the specialists are not required to move to Ellensburg, and may work remotely.
Please share with your networks and recent PhD students! We will start reviewing application materials quite soon (September 8) so I'd appreciate your help getting the word out. The complete job description is below.
I hope you are all well,
anne
