Using the TeamQUBES Blog
I was thinking of using the Blog space in the TeamQUBES Group to discuss with everyone what I am working on and discovering at a finer time scale than weekly meetings. Some of these blog posts, I imagine, would be good to "repost" to the public blogs once we go live (like, for real live).
One of the things that has been on my mind lately is the importance of informing the users what is possible with the Hub. There is SO much functionality, with many ways of doing the same thing, that it would be nice to have both a place where people can find Tips & Tricks, as well as a way for us to alert the users. Here are some places/ways users can find out how to use the Hub:
- The Knowledge Base
- Blogs: We can use public blogs to highlight different contextual uses of the site
- A Tips & Tricks Dashboard module (I submitted a Wish List for this): This would allow us to pipe Hub usage tips directly to their Dashboard page, with links to videos
For now, I will use private Blogs in our Group to discuss Tips & Tricks (could be renamed to "Using the Hub" when we go live if it makes more sense), as well as more internal issues with the team. Feel free to join me on the Blog space!!
