  Jae Allain is an Instructional Designer for Online Learning at Southern Maine Community College. Her primary job is to help faculty create engaging online courses but as part of a small team that can involve anything from making videos to providing faculty training. Jae has bounced around the learning technology space working in K-12, Corporate training and Higher Ed. With a BA in Film Production & Communication from Keene State College and an Associates in IT from Southern Maine Community College, Her main focus is on making technology less intimidating and more enjoyable. A Google Certified Educator and Ck-12 Certified Educator Jae's working on getting more accessible tools and OER in the classrooms of SMCC.
