Biography
An educator with more than twenty-five years of teaching experience in the life sciences in the on-line, in-class and hybrid format. She has successfully designed, developed and introduced courses in global health and survey of human diseases. She was part of the Open Course Library of WA state in developing open courses for microbiology and nutrition. Seema Jejurikar has been teaching at Bellevue College, Bellevue WA for the last twenty-five years and since last year is also teaching at the Catholic University of America in DC. Seema graduated from the University of Washington Seattle WA from the School of Public Health and Medicine with a masters degree in Pathobiology (study of infectious diseases). She worked at the Primate Center at the University of Washington on the vaccine development for the Simian Immunodeficiency Virus. Before that Seema Jejurikar has a masters degree in biochemistry from University of Bombay, India.
