  • Biography
    Jennifer McLean is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology at Colorado State University (CSU) where she teaches undergraduate general microbiology, immunology lecture and laboratory. She received her B. A. in Biology from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and Ph.D. from Colorado State University. She has authored 16 research and education papers, and has currently been accepted into the Biology Scholars Program Education Research Course: Discipline-Based Education Research. She has received the CSU Dr. Blanche M. Hughes Distinguished Faculty Staff Award, the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Faculty Teaching Award for Innovative Instructional Methodology in Undergraduate Education, and the Provost’s N. Preston Davis Award for Instructional Innovation. She is a member of ASM and NSTA, as well as numerous teaching and learning related committees across her department, college and university.
