• Biography

  I am a professor emerita of biology at St. John's University, NY and research affiliate in the A.C. Moore Herbarium at the University of South Carolina, Columbia.  I have had a long-term interest in the relationship between art and biology.  I am doing research on the fascinating past, present, and future of herbaria.
