• Biography

  Jonathan earned his BS in Biology from Lebanon Valley College, PA (1985) and both his MS and PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia (1989, 1993). He has been teaching in the Department of Natural Science at McPherson College, KS since 1993. His teaching and research interests are eclectic: from writing a textbook for his introductory course in biology for science majors to leading field experience courses in the ecology of Puerto Rico; from microbiology to plant ecophysiology.
