This group has been formed owing to folks interest in leveraging the microbiome and microbiome-related pedagogy as a way to engage students in the classroom. Our work is supported by NSF funded The Research Experience in Microbiomes Network (REMNet) is a grassroots community of microbiology practitioners who are interested in developing standards for research in microbiomes that can be incorporated into the undergraduate curriculum. 

Our plan is to have our team work on developing modules using either Nephele or CSHL's DNA Subway and the Purple Line to support our classes in Fall as we're mostly going online. We'll also be working on access, inclusion, protocols, and communicating our work!
