    Really interesting tool. Is it feasible to teach students the usage of this tool before it is applied in problem solving research question? What is the approximate learning curve for life science students?

      CyVerse is used extensively for both research and teaching https://learning.cyverse.org/en/latest/

      For example,

      DNA Subway is used to teach high school and undergraduate students: https://cyverse-dnasubway-guide.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/

      CyVerse Data Science Workbench can be used to launch individual instances of RStudio or Jupyter for live coding sessions in a course focusing on programming in R, Python, etc. in a simlar way as the Binder Project is used -- but with CyVerse you can launch large instances that are persistant for several days and can be extended, whereas Binder is only active for a few hours on a small VM.
