Description
This is a weekly reflection template designed to induce reflection about week's themes, integrate the week's themes into ones life, and identify any issues or successes students are having to inform instruction. Since I now upload readings to Perusall, this reflection no longer acts as a way for me to gauge whether reading is being completed. I find the template form makes it much easier to grade and easier for students to complete (think UDL). In practice, I use Google Assignments to deliver this so that it automatically makes a copy of the template for students. I also use the section about integrating the weeks' themes (finding BS in your life) to augment the next day's class slides with funny memes, stories from classmates, etc.
