Description
This resource helps BioGraphI Faculty Mentoring Network (FMN) participants communicate with one or more potential interviewees for their BioGraphI modules. BioGraphI modules address data literacy while fostering diversity in undergraduate biology classrooms. They are lessons about graph and data interpretation, featuring the scientific contributions of biologists who are members of historically excluded groups (HEGs). The video interviews with these biologists allow students to hear directly from HEGs about their discoveries.
This resource provides FMN participants with sample text to use to introduce their potential interviewee(s) to the BioGraphI Network’s mission and the role(s) that an interviewee plays in BioGraphI module creation and authorship.
Notes
Version 1.1 includes information about the stipend that the BioGraphI Project can offer to the interviewee.
