Description
This example is for the 2019 glioblastoma (GBM) class project. Students needed to look at novel ways to treat GBM. Specifically, the potential anticancer properties of “natural” over-the-counter health products. Students must find a candidate drug for investigation and a research article (not popular press) supporting their drug.
If you are doing this for the CBEC as part of the Cancer CURE do not forget the assessment surveys.
For more information on Cell Blocks and written protocols go to Cell Biology Education Consortium. We are a network of faculty and students working on incorporating cell culture-based research into the classroom. Please join the CBEC community and subscribe.
