Description
The Abbreviated Math Anxiety Scale (AMAS) is a short 12-question survey designed to measure how much math anxiety students experience (Hopko et al. 2003). This can be given at the beginning and end of the BIOMAAP program, in order to measure student changes in math anxiety. It can also be a helpful tool if given only at the beginning of the semester, in order to help students realize the extent of their own math anxiety and the relevance of the materials in their own lives.
The online version is a Google survey and is set as read only; please choose “Make a copy” before distributing the link to your students.
