Description

Student Introduction: Different species of animals can carry different types of hemoglobin in their blood. Animals such as oligochaetes have large molecular weight hemoglobins that are carried in the plasma. In contrast, other species, such as birds and mammals, have small molecular weight hemoglobins that are packaged in red blood cells.
