Description

The mission of the Quantitative Undergraduate Biology Education and Synthesis (QUBES) project is to improve learning opportunities for all students enrolled in undergraduate biology courses by reflecting the centrality of quantitative approaches in modern biology.   We will talk about QUBES, its mission, and its resources for creating educational experiences around mathematical biology, biostatistics and computational biology.  We will highlight new Consortium members and results of new partnerships and collaborations.  One of these collaborations is the Faculty Mentoring Networks project, which creates a peer mentoring network between instructors to help implement tools and best practices in quantitative biology education.  The other major collaboration is the unveiling of qubeshub.org, a virtual collaboration space centered around quantitative biology education.
