We are looking for new Working Groups to fund!

The RIOS Institute invites proposals for Working Groups that will function as innovation sandboxes or think tank incubators. Accepted proposals will receive a $2000 budget. Participants will bring new ideas and address challenges as they develop a tangible product aligned with the RIOS mission. We are accepting proposals on a rolling basis. Join the RIOS Community

We support and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in the STEM education ecosystem: students, educators, organization leaders, STEM education researchers, curriculum builders, course coordinators, professional developers, and library and instructional technologists

The majority of RIOS events, materials, and other resources available here do not require you to be a group member to access them. However, joining the group has many perks! Joining RIOS:

  • Gives you access to a community of like minded faculty
  • Sends you notifications about our events and and activities
  • Allows you to post questions to discussion forums and get feedback from the RIOS educator community

How Do I Join?

To join RIOS, you will need a QUBESHub account.

If you already have a QUBESHub account and you are already logged in, simply click the "Join Group" button in the upper right corner of the page. If you are not signed in to QUBESHub, click the "Log In" button in the upper right corner. If you cannot remember your password, ask for it to be sent to you. You will then need to navigate back to the RIOS website, and click "Join Group".
If you don't have a QUBESHub account yet, consider making one! Having a QUBESHub account gives you access to a wide range of resources and opportunities to collaborate. Creating an account is simple and quick. You will be asked for: a username, password of your choice, your real name,and a valid email account. You will also need to agree to the QUBESHub Terms of Use, and confirm your identity by following a link that is sent to the email address you entered.

RIOS Events & Projects

As we work towards equity and justice in STEM Education, the RIOS Institute promotes collaboration among the network of leaders we serve.
