NEON Logo 2016

The mission of the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) is to enable understanding and forecasting of the impacts of climate change, land use change and invasive species on continental-scale ecology – by providing infrastructure and consistent methodologies to support research and education in these areas.

NEON Data Education Fellows Faculty Mentoring Network 2018

Use National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) data-centered activities in your classroom! NEON provides free ecological data from field sites across the US for researchers, educators, and policy makers. Participants in the NEON Data Education Fellows FMN will implement or adapt existing NEON educational materials to their educational settings. Faculty who already teach using NEON data and would like to use the FMN to improve the content and transition it to an open educational resource are also invited to participate.

Dates: 15 January - 21 May 2018
