Has anybody had success downloading 16S fastq sequence files from HMP using portal client?

I am trying to use them for my class and other than downloading file by file from the site using their URL I have not been able to download any data from their website.

Happy New Year everyone!

Does have any succesful experience at downloading 16S fastq sequences from HMP using portal_client and manifest files generated by HMP database? I can download individual fastq files but I can't batch download them using portalclient. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW I tried to post this in a forum for the REMNet Qubes site but couldn't figure out how to start a thread. Thank you and be safe!
