Ben Dreyfus is an Instructional Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at George Mason University, where he teaches introductory physics courses, coordinates the Learning Assistant Program in the College of Science, and is involved in physics education research. He has an A.B. in physics from Harvard University, an M.A. in science education from the City College of New York, and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Maryland, where his research focused on students’ interdisciplinary reasoning about energy in introductory physics for the life sciences.
