Description

By answering a list of questions, students will explore how changing the status of a language will alter the stability of equilibrium solutions, leading to the domination of one language in the population over the other.

If we consider changes in the reliance of switching on the number of people in the population, we can see a stable equilibrium solution where a nonzero fraction of the population may speak both languages.
