Article Context

Description

A zombie is a deceased person whose body has been revived but who now feeds on living human flesh. Often the zombie is controlled by its own insatiable desire to feed or an evil sorcerer. Because of the zombie's appetite, the imagined conflict between humans and zombies has lead to the development of fanciful and engaging stories and activities.

Students will reduce the system to two equations. In addition, students will then produce and analyze several possible phase planes for each of the two equation systems. Finally, the students will write an essay detailing their results. This activity is written with the software pplane.jar.  However any software with the ability to produce phase planes should work.
