Description

In this activity, students use systems of non-linear differential equations to model the {bf HvZ} game. Standard SIR and SIRS models are introduced to guide students as they set up the equations and analyze the resulting non-linear systems.

Many alternate rule sets provide options to formulate different models.

Students solve for the numerical solutions and examine the game outcomes by varying the interaction parameters.

They conclude which group, Humans or Zombies, will win the game.
