Accessible Science Education Journals
There are a variety of relevant education and science education journals out there. On Monday we talked about how it was nice to see methods we already implemented to be recognized as formal methods (POE, data puzzle, etc) or to read about a method that did a better job emphasizing something we already kind of did.
Two journals from the National Science Teachers Association may be of interest:
- The Science Teacher: the main audience is high school, but lots of relevant articles. The Kasterns et al. paper we read this week is from this journal.
- The Journal of College Science Teaching: specifically focused on undergraduate science teaching.
Data-centric teaching resources
Please add your favorite educational materials or modules for teaching with data (from any published source or your own work). In the description, tell us if you used these materials in your courses and how you implemented it. [This is an open collection so please don't post items that can't be shared publicly].
