Google Hangouts is an excellent form of communication, if you know how to use it.

Inviting participants to a hangout:

First, choose which kind of communication to use in the hangout (video, phone, or messaging). In order to invite people, you can choose the person by clicking on the icon in the center of the screen for the type of communication you want (shown in the image above). Next, a new window will open and the image below will show up in the center of your screen (see image below). In the box with “add names or email addresses”, add the names of people in your contact list, or if they are not in your contact list, type out their email address. Now, click “invite” and your invitation to the hangout will be sent out.
