Summary:
Ecologists new to teaching and evidence-based teaching practices often feel alone and without support. There are resources and communities that can help them become better instructors and contribute to student learning outcomes.
Description
This list was compiled for an Ecological Society of America annual meeting workshop entitled "Backward Design pedagogy workshop." It is not comprehensive by any means, but it's a simple start for the un-oriented ecologist. You can contribute to the next version of this document by following the link to a Google docs version of this list where you can comment and suggest changes. There is also a discussion area where you can ask questions or make suggestions.
Notes
In this version the handout file was added, the google doc version was added, and the discussion was connected.
