Description

The Environmental Data Science Inclusion Network (EDSIN) was launched in the spring of 2019 following an NSF INCLUDES conference that brought together researchers, practitioners, evaluators, and employers to examine diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the environmental and data science fields. Examination of DEI is especially relevant in these fields where analyses of big ecological datasets and policies driven by those analyses may have profound environmental and societal implications.
