Description

This adaptation of Value of Mistakes consists of a PowerPoint presentation of "Value of Mistakes.V2" handout with interactive question slides (UDL Checkpoint 5.1 & 7.2) and a revised reflection assignment.  In-class questions range from a review of growth and fixed mindset (UDL Checkpoint 3.4) to open ended questions about their experiences with RStudio (UDL Checkpoint 7.2 & 9.3).  

A data file is included for use in the graphing activity (R Data) where students work during the class period to make a scatter plot.

The full activity and current adaptations have been mapped to the Universal Design for Learning framework.  This information is provided in the "Mapping to UDL" document.

Please Note: “Introduction to Growth Mindset” is recommended before this one.
