Description

The 'candymations' illustrate how mitosis and meiosis work, and why the work the way they do. The Instructor Guides offer a detailed list of questions that students might ask at specific points in the animation (or questions that instructors could ask students!), as well as answers. The "pair-pull-part" slide set illustrates how this strategy is employed by mitosis, meiosis I, and meiosis II to produce cells that have the correct chromosome complement.
