I think re-wording this section is necessary to make it clear that managers are auto-enrolling all new group users to receive email notifications of forum discussions. I suggest re-wording to:

"Forum Discussion emails (optional)

[ ] Auto subscribe new group users to forum discussion emails"

Please keep the note to indicate that users can change their settings once they enter the group.
