This video will get you started on posting to a forum:

How to post to a forum

Also see the following FAQs:

1. How do I check my individual settings to see if I am subscribed to forum emails?

Settings for emails from group forums are separate from all of the other QUBES site settings. First go to the forum page for your group. You can get there from the group’s main page by clicking the Forums tab in the left menu. On the forum page at the bottom, you can check or uncheck the box for “Email me when message sent by group members.”

2. Why would I want to subscribe to forum emails?

In order for dialogue to occur on the forums, rather than just individual unrelated posts, it is important for all group members to be aware that discussion is occurring. Everyone hates to be overwhelmed by excessive emails, but there are ways to avoid being swamped while still remaining aware of what is going on in the forums. For example, if you use gmail, it is easy to set up a filter. Your QUBES emails could then go to a folder, which you can then check for new messages at your convenience. See instructions below for how to set up a QUBES filter in gmail.

Setting up a QUBES filter for forum emails:

First create a label called QUBES. This will allow you to keep all your QUBES emails in a single folder that you can find easily. For general instructions on making new labels in gmail, see: https://support.google.com/inbox/answer/6067566?hl=en (“Create a label from an email” is the easiest set of instructions).

Next, make a filter for all your QUBES forum emails. For general instructions on setting up filters in gmail, see:

https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6579?hl=en

Use “QUBES” or “from:(support@qubeshub.org)” as the search term, then as your filter options choose “Skip Inbox (Archive it)” and “Never Send to Spam”
