DIY with Open Access
QUBES cyberinfrastructure and documentation on suggested event practices are openly available. Anyone can register for a free account and create workspaces on QUBES to support their events. We also provide open access to our templates, documentation, and suggestions for making online events engaging and accessible. An * denotes that there are ways for QUBES staff to streamline these processes for you.
Group Features
QUBES groups act as a customizable workspace or website for your event. They include features of many collaborative tools, allowing you to:
- Add, edit, and manage page content*
- Control group membership
- Send email announcements to group members
- Provide sub-group workspaces*
- Offer discussion forums*
- Create collections of materials and resources*
- Utilize a shared calendar*
The visibility of each component can be controlled to restrict access to group members only or allow public access to any section.
Open Publishing Platform
QUBES also hosts an open educational resource publishing platform, available for anyone to use. Features of QUBES resources:
