The Montana Land Cover dataset is a statewide map of vegetation types, land cover classes, and land use categories.  It is one of 15 layers that make up the framework of the Montana Spatial Data Infrastructure (MSDI).  The Montana Land Cover Working Group is leading the effort to update this framework data layer.
