We are excited to invite you to participate in Difficult Dialogues - Level 2 where we dive deeper into specific content areas that we touched on during our first series. This community will be made up of former attendees from Difficult Dialogues Level 1 or attendees who have had exposure to learning opportunities on inequities in STEM. This 5-session Learning Community series led by Drs. Desiree Forsythe and Meg Jones will engage participants in discussions, short readings, and mini-workshops to explore difficult dialogues of social inequities in STEM classrooms through the topics of gender and sex, sexuality, race and ethnicity, disability, and intersections of these identities. In each meeting, we will prepare for and engage in deep discussions and explore implementation strategies around these topics. We hope participants will be able to attend and engage in all sessions.
