The Women of Color in Psychology Network was created to promote community through informal peer mentorship while building on skills relevant to STEM outreach to young girls of color, self-development, and community advocacy. Central to the functioning of the network is that we collectively support each other and create a platform to share experiences of (and skills to mitigate) topics ranging from burnout and discrimination to effective ways of navigating academia.
