  • Biography

I am a Professor of Biology at a small 2/4 year college in rural Georgia.

I received my PhD from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London in 2010.

My main research interests are amphibian diseases biology (mainly ranaviruses) and amphibian ecology. Recently, my interests have expanded to include education based areas, specifically, how attitudes affect student’s receptivity to evolutionary thought and their success biology courses.

My teaching duties are diverse and include both non-majors introductory biology courses and upper year majors courses.
