• Biography

  Hello! My name is Nick Brown. I am currently a renewable term faculty at the University of Oklahoma in the First-Year Math department where I started in Fall 2021. I currently teach, College Algebra, Precalculus and Trig, and Business Precalculus.  I am originally from the Brookings, SD, area and graduated with multiple degrees from South Dakota State University, including a Ph.D. in Computational Science and Statistics. I'm interested in learning about better ways to make my classrooms more inclusive and equitable in a substantive way as well as becoming a better math teacher. I am not currently working on any research but my research interests are primarily in mathematics education, algebra, and harmonic analysis.
