• Biography

  I am broadly interested in wildlife conservation, and I have specifically worked on population genetics and noninvasive population monitoring of mesocarnivores. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Biology at Seattle University, where I teach classes in Conservation Biology, Ecology, Introductory Biology, and a non-majors class in Carnivores Conservation. My students and I study the habitat relationships and landscape genetics of raccoons and opossums in Seattle parks. I received my B.S. in Biology from the University of Puget Sound and my Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from U.C. Berkeley.
