  Hi! I'm Max and I use they/them pronouns. I am a visiting assistant professor at Pomona College, and just graduated last year from UC Berkeley, with Matthias Beck at SFSU as my advisor. My interests are primarily in enumerative problems coming from objects in discrete geometry, such as polytopes. I am also interested in parking function-related objects, and also down to learn something new! :)
  
  
  
  In my spare time, I like starting (but usually not finishing, haha) various craft projects, and hanging out with my cat.
  
  
  
  I am currently Covid conscious and mask indoors with other people and eat outside, and would love to room with someone with a similar level of covid precautions.
