  I am a postdoctoral researcher interested in using dynamical thinking to improve our understanding of extreme events on both weather and climate timescales. I also have an interest in non-linear atmospheric dynamics, which are so important for mid-latitude variability, and how these dynamics can be clarified through simple models and idealised analysis.
