Use the "About" field to describe your project.  This is a place where you can describe what you are working on in your project.  Who are members of the project?  What are the goals of the project?  

Upload a team selfie or logo.  Below this field on this page, you can upload a photo of the project team, a project logo, or some other image to represent your project.  This image will replace the gray paper airplane image on your project page.  The image will also appear next to your project name in lists and searches on QUBESHub, if you chose to allow your project to be appear in search and listings (more on this in the next paragraph).  

Choose your project's privacy settings.  Also below, you can select whether your projects is private or public.  We recommend selecting the more public option, "Anyone can find this project in search and listings and view its basic information (public project)".  Your project will be listed on QUBESHub and can be found in searches by QUBESHub visitors; however, visitors will only be able to view its basic information such as project name and image.  Therefore, your work (your updates, notes, files, etc.) will remain private.  Selecting the public options also allows you to select from the following options:

• Allow users to request access to the project (Private working groups generally do NOT select this option.)
• Show team on public project page
• Show publications on public project page  (If you project is just starting out, you likely will not have any "publications", a.k.a. "resources" to share and therefore will not select this option.  Project managers can always edit these selections once the project has resources to share.)
