This 4-part worksheet introduces students to the Nextstrain and Nextclade resources for the purpose of visualizing SARS-CoV-2 variants. The final worksheet also introduces students to the use of Uniprot as a resource for discovering more information about the SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein. This resource can be used separately or in connection with the Understanding COVID-19 Biology to Design a Vaccine (doi: 10.25334/DNC7-8581) resource. There are ethical resources with the primary document as well.
