This page contains links to a wide range of meetings that have taken advantage of the QUBESHub infrastructure. The brief descriptions say a little more about how the Hub was used and you can visit the meeting sites to get ideas for enhancing your meeting. Some of the materials at a meeting site may be private and unavailable to you. Don't hesitate to contact the Group Moderator, Sam Donovan, for more information.
The QUBES Project Leadership came together with our advisory board and other leaders in undergraduate quantitative biology education for a kick-off meeting at the National Center for Evolutionary Synthesis. The QUBESHub was used to introduce people before the meeting, collect suggested resources, and work in collaborative teams during the meeting.
Lou Gross, Sam Donovan, and Melissa Aikens ran a half day workshop for 20 participants at the American Society for Microbiology Conference on Undergraduate Education meeting in Austin Texas. The QUBESHub was used to get the participants interacting with one another before the meeting, collect information about their backgrounds and goals for the workshop, and run the workshop activities (including using R and NetLogo).
